Titan THX is a new third
generation diestone. Its thixotropic qualities allow the stone to be
repeatedly stacked and flowed during its own work time, achieving
maximum contact with the impression under low vibration. When
vibration or stirring ceases the stone will "freeze" into
gel-like consistency after approximately five seconds. This
technology is ideal for casting multiple impressions since excess
running and overspill of diestone are dramatically reduced. |

The ability of Titan to reduce
surface tension on tact with the impression also helps to
reduce tears and air blows, therefore improving the casting
reliability of models.
Titan's accuracy is complemented by its superior surface hardness and strength
contrasted by the fact that it is not brittle. This is essential when casting
bridge work. It also displays high abrasion resistance when in contact with
metal/porcelain.
Titan has the following advantages:
- Fine particled, smooth
textured diestone
- Thixotropic qualities
allow the stone to be repeatedly stacked and flowed to
achieve maximum contact with the impression
- Dense matrix virtually
eliminates air bubbles
- Superior hardness and high
abrasion resistance when in contact with metal/porcelain
- Superior strength when
removing thin dies
