SILROC is a 'ready to use' plastic refractory putty/mouldable. It has a mean permanent linear change of 2% when fired to 1000°C (=CT).
It is not advisable to use SILROC beyond a maximum service temperature of 1200°C (=MST).

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
SILROC is a very low iron, siliceous product having a typical:

a) Iron Oxide content of 0.5%
b) Silica content of 72.0%
