Hoben International’s foundry plasters are compounded especially for aluminium castings made from reclaimable silicone rubber moulds.

Hoben’s foundry plaster is specially formulated for mixing under vacuum and has a high green strength and good thermal shock properties, making it particularly suitable for multi-part moulds.

Hoben also produces foundry plasters for the foamed mixing technique where air is intentionally entrained, giving a mould which is ideal for thin walled pieces produced by counter gravity casting.

All these plasters produce extremely permeable moulds giving excellent fill characteristics.
