Lab melting generators



The Indutherm VPM 8 is a vacuum melting system for steel and non-ferrous metals, and has been specially developed for analysis purposes. One of the greatest advantages of this system is the innovative combination of superior, high-performance technology with easy handling and maximum operating safety. This means short training periods and fast, accurate measuring results.
	For crucibles up to 300g (ferrous metals) with option of up to 1.5kg. For melting up to 2000慢. Excellent casting results because of working under inert gas in the crucible. Aluminium castings with integrated water cooling in high grade steel tubes; therefore also suitable for continuous operation. The material can be melted under vacuum or high pressure. Outstanding performance through microprocessor-controlled 8kW induction generator. Advantage: the heat is produced directly in the crucible, that is within the material, therefore the melting time is <2 mins. By building up a magnetic field, the material is mixed thoroughly - an important requirement for precise analyses.
