BR5 is an air setting aluminous refractory mortar supplied in a plastic ready to use form.

Joining mortar for light weight insulating bricks

CLASSIFICATION

It is not advisable to use BR5 beyond a maximum service temperature of 1600ºC (=MST)

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

BR5 is an aluminous, low iron mortar having a typical:

a) Alumina content of 35.0%

b) Iron Oxide content of 1.0%
